Toronto Raptors rookie guard Ja’Kobe Walter will miss his first NBA training camp due to a sprained right shoulder, as confirmed by the team.
Walter, selected 19th overall in the recent NBA Draft, sustained the injury during informal workouts. The Raptors plan to provide updates on his recovery after next week’s training camp in Montreal.
Previously, Walter was recognized as Baylor's top scorer and earned the Big 12 Freshman of the Year title last season, averaging 14.5 points and 4.4 rebounds.
